Lekotek   Lekotek is a resource center that provides support and information to families with children having special needs. Lekotek's primary service is the play session, where a trained Lekotek Leader focuses on facilitating positive family interaction through play. The play sessions are designed to emphasize family enhancement through the creative use of toys, special play materials, and assistive technology. The use of assistive technology (adapted toys and computers) provides the developmental experiences that all children need regardless of their abilities.   Consultation services for assistive technology and adapted toys are available to other professionals providing service to children with special needs.
