Camping Programs
A cool early morning canoe trip, the smell of toasted marshmallows, one last sleepy song around the campfire, and friendships and experiences to carry with you for a lifetime. Each person's camp experience has so much in common yet is so unique in the way it offers challenges, promotes successes, and meets needs.
Easter Seals' camping programs provide accessible and adapted outdoor living, learning and recreational experiences with an emphasis on fun! Programming is designed to promote individual growth, increased independence and the development of meaningful and rewarding relationships.
- Easter Seals' Residential Summer Camping Programs include special needs and inclusive one to two week long camp sessions for children and adults, ages six & up. Campers participate in traditional camp activities which include, swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, nature programs, music and drama, sports and much, much more.
- Contracted and Cooperative Residential Camping Programs are available to organizations who arrange to sponsor programs which utilize Timber Pointe facilities, support staff and other resources for overnight camping and outdoor living experiences.
- Easter Seals' Inclusive Day Camp Programs are conducted at Timber Pointe in concert with other community agencies. Day campers enjoy the same incredible outdoor setting and resources as overnight campers within the framework of a structured day camp setting.
